About a month ago I bought a Pontiac G8. It's a pretty sweet car and I don't really have any complaints aside for some minor details, nothing that would keep me from buying the car. One of those minor details is the antenna. The car is a 2009, and in this day and age cars don't come with big honking ugly antennas that take away from the styling of the car. It's either a small disc (or no disc) on the roof of the car for satellite radio and the antenna is stuffed in one of the windows or it's a small shark fin looking thing. Either way, it's small and doesn't stand out on the car. The G8 is made in Australia so I guess they haven't caught onto our styling cues yet. There are some companies that claim to be working on a replacement for us but we have heard nothing as of today. So I took it upon myself to make my own shorter antenna. A trip to Menards and $10 later I had everything I needed to get to work on my monstrosity.

Possibly the bestly written show ever to be on TV. The kind of show that would develop a badass like Wild Bill and then off him in the fifth episode of the series. The writers had introduced him to you, made you like him, made him a decent person, made him an honorable person, and then fucking killed him in the fifth episode thus leaving Sheriff Bullock as the only badass in town.

Before going to see the new Transformers movie I read many reviews on it. Pretty much everyone and their brother and their brothers dog hated on the movie, so I have to wonder why the movie was the fasted to $200 million in history (looks like it might break $1 billion after the last one made $800 mill).

We've had a 2001 ford exploder sitting in our garage for over 18 months now. It sits there because the brakes are bad and I didn't feel like forking over the 500+ to fix it. Well now that we're in the middle of a recession and my wife and I have two perfectly working cars I decided that fixing it now is the perfect time (gotta stimulate that economy).

So some people I know are all the rave about the new Palm Pre and it's touchstone dock. The phone is good enough (I'll probably be getting one after the guinea pigs are done finding all the bugs. The thing I don't get everyone raving about is the Touchstone dock. It's essentially a small cylinder shaped thing with a magnet in it. The phone also contains a magnet and when you set the phone on the dock it charges wirelessly (the magnets are only there to keep the phone in place).
